Joining the panel are:

Chulu Kamalondo, Sydney Water

Chulu Kamalondo has worked as a commercial manager on a variety of construction projects from relatively small projects, to multi-billion mega infrastructure programmes. He has had the privilege of working on mega infrastructure programmes such as Crossrail and the London 2012 Olympic Park, which has allowed him to gain further experience in managing procurement packages and administering suites of contracts. 

Chulu has been working as a regional contract manager at Sydney Water for nearly 3 years. His main goal is to contribute to the evolution of the construction industry; which should be first driven by safety while maximising the use of resources and capital.

James Bowling, 4 Pump Court

James Bowling is a leading commercial barrister specialising in construction, energy, infrastructure, international arbitration and related areas of professional liability. He was “Construction Junior of the Year” at the Chambers & Partners’ Bar Awards in 2017, has been ranked as one of the “most highly regarded” juniors at the Construction Bar by Who’s Who Legal. He was also nominated as Construction & Energy Junior of the Year in 2019.

James practices in England & Wales as well as undertaking international arbitration work. He is based in London but acts in disputes worldwide, including Africa, Asia and the Middle East and Australia. 

Khalid Yousri, Diales

Khalid Yousri is a regional operations director who has over 13 years of experience with main/EP contractors and global consultants in Egypt, Kuwait, KSA and the UAE. He holds a BSc Civil Engineering and an MSc in Construction Law, and he is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Khalid’s major sector experience includes buildings, infrastructure, marine, rail, water treatment plants, and oil & gas projects where he has worked for clients, government bodies, contractors, and various components of the construction supply chain.
